Dr Gabrielle Pilla
Gabrielle Pilla
Gabrielle graduated from RMIT University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical) and a Bachelor of Osteopathic Science. She has been practising osteopathy for 24 years across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs in a variety of clinics.
Gabrielle is working with Kaitlyn’s patients while she is on maternity leave, as well as welcoming new and returning patients.
What she loves about being an osteopath is the opportunity to create positive changes in people’s lives and health, helping to improve how they move, feel and function. She enjoys meeting and working with a diverse range of people from all walks of life.
Gabrielle’s treatment approach is structural and incorporates a range of techniques, which are adapted according to each patient’s clinical presentation. These may include soft tissue massage, trigger point release, stretching, myofascial release, dry needling, joint mobilisation and manipulation.
For 15 years, Gabrielle also worked in the fitness industry, instructing group fitness classes such as BodyPump, BodyCombat, Matwork Pilates and Zumba. She enjoys incorporating her experience and knowledge of exercise and fitness into the rehabilitation of patients recovering from injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Gabrielle enjoys going for walks, reading books, listening to podcasts, travelling and going to the cinema.
